Suzy AI for ASI FrontDesk Motels

ASI FrontDesk is common at smaller, older independent motels without a modern cloud API. Here's exactly how Suzy imports reservation data from it, and what's honestly different from a live, always-on sync.

In short

ASI FrontDesk doesn't expose a live API the way newer cloud PMS platforms do, so Suzy's connection is a CSV import: you export your reservations from ASI FrontDesk and upload the file into your Suzy dashboard, or send a single reservation at a time. It's not a continuous, real-time sync like Suzy's OAuth-based integrations, and we say so directly rather than overstating it. Suzy works fully without any import at all.

Why this connection works differently

ASI FrontDesk is a long-established property management system still in use at a number of smaller independent motels, particularly older, single-location properties. It generally doesn't offer the kind of live, always-on API that newer cloud PMS platforms (Cloudbeds, Mews, Guesty) do, so a continuous background sync isn't something Suzy can honestly claim for it.

Instead, Suzy supports a CSV-based import: you export your upcoming reservations from ASI FrontDesk in the standard format, upload the file through your Suzy dashboard, and Suzy upserts each reservation, matching by confirmation number so re-uploading the same file doesn't create duplicates. You can also send a single reservation at a time if you'd rather not batch-export.

What this does, and doesn't, mean

Not a live sync

Honest limitation

Reservation data updates when you upload a new export, not continuously in the background the way Suzy's OAuth-based integrations do. A new booking made in ASI FrontDesk after your last upload won't appear in Suzy until you upload again.

Batch or single-record upload

Your choice

Upload up to 100 reservations at once from a CSV export, or send a single reservation if that fits your workflow better.

Safe to re-upload

No duplicates

Records are matched by confirmation number, so uploading the same export twice updates existing records instead of creating duplicates.

Honest status

This is a real, working import path, not a live continuous sync, and we're direct about that difference rather than describing it the same way as an OAuth-based integration. Suzy works fully without importing anything from ASI FrontDesk at all; you can enter your property's WiFi, check-in/out times, and policies directly and Suzy answers guest questions the same way.

Frequently asked questions.

Does Suzy sync live with ASI FrontDesk?

No, and we don't claim it does. ASI FrontDesk doesn't expose the kind of live API newer cloud PMS platforms do, so the connection is a CSV import you run when you want reservation data updated, not a continuous background sync.

How often do I need to upload a new export?

As often as you want your reservation data current, there's no fixed schedule. Many operators upload weekly or whenever a batch of new bookings comes in.

Will uploading the same file twice create duplicate reservations?

No. Records are matched by confirmation number, so re-uploading updates existing entries instead of duplicating them.

Do I need to use the CSV import at all?

No. It's entirely optional. Suzy answers guest questions from your FAQ setup regardless; the import only adds reservation-aware replies (guest name, check-in/out dates) on top of that.

An honest connection, not an oversold one.

Starts at $349/month. Works with or without a CSV import.
